It's been confirmed both versions will have the same exact roster.

However it seems this isn't the full roster. There's 4 more slots that many think belongs to Ridley/Mewtwo/Dixie and Chorus Kids.

Yep. 4-5 slots I hear. In any case, room was left as the guy hadn't even unlocked All-Star Mode yet.
