The reality is the economy is doing good, for now and life hasn't ended for most people. So, unless shyt changes before the election, a person who doesn't follow the nuances of politics or the day to day isn't going to be that motivated. I agree with you but I realize I'm a lot more informed and engaged than most people. The same can be said about most people posting here.

the economy is pretty stagnant for low income and middle class people, they're aware of it, their lives aren't improving, corporations are crushing them and their cost of living is continuing to go up



I don't think people need book burnings for them to realize that the Trump administration is the anti-thesis of democracy and the values we're supposed to uphold.

As disinterested as Americans are in politics and policy you can't hide from what is going on in this country.
