@acri1 This is 2010.

Core Democratic groups stayed away in droves Tuesday, costing Democratic House candidates dearly at the polls.

Hispanics, African Americans, union members and young people were among the many core Democratic groups that turned out in large numbers in the 2008 elections, propelling Mr. Obama and Democratic House candidates to sizable victories. In 2010, turnout among these groups dropped off substantially, even below their previous midterm levels.

Voters under the age of 30 comprised 18 percent of the electorate in 2008 and nearly 13 percent in 2006 but only made up 11 percent of the electorate in 2010. The share of voters from union households dropped from 23 percent in 2006 and 21 percent in 2008 to 17 percent in 2010. African Americans made up 13 percent of the electorate in 2008 but fell to 10 percent in 2010. Such apathy likely cost the Democrats House seats as voters in each of these groups cast ballots for Democratic House candidates by at least 15 point margins.

I’m not voting for Biden :yeshrug:
you think a trump presidency is better than a biden presidency :ehh:

on the one hand, i kind of want trump to have to be the one in office to own the recession that WILL happen between 2020 and 2024. i dont really give a fukk if he wins, tbh :yeshrug:

because if that happens, we could get another obama/clinton type president in 2024. a real, 8 year president who's not on his deathbed

pretty much. frankly it's why i think he would win, or have the best chance of winning

moderate, middle class democrats arent gonna show up the way bernie needs when it really gets down to november, imo. republicans are gonna hit this country over the head with "a vote for bernie = a vote for higher taxes", and it will work on americans :dead:

How can you post here for so many years and still know so little about politics?

I wouldn't even look at forecasts at this point. We're legit in a great unknown.

We've had millions of early votes in many of the Super Tuesday states over the past few weeks.

We've had 3 candidates drop since Saturday.

We have a billionaire who's dropped $500M already and has a field organization for the last 3 months in these states.

We have a former VP who's riding off Obama but having trouble with gaffes and his dismal record. He has no organization in most of these states and until 48 hours ago didn't have a lot of financial resources.

We have two US Senators with large grassroots support, funding and organizing, one is in the lead and should be after tonight. The other has under performed and is banking on performing much better than she has for the past month.
