i'm hoping some of this not voting is heat of the moment/still in primaries thinking. i really would like my kids to live on a planet worth occupying, even if they live in huts after taking on college debt. i'd also like them to have the civil and social freedoms generations have fought for, and not live under the rule of a staunchly conservative, oppressive court system. i'd like us to continue to move forward with health care access, even if it doesn't happen overnight, and yes, let's please raise the minimum wage.

pretty much. frankly it's why i think he would win, or have the best chance of winning

moderate, middle class democrats arent gonna show up the way bernie needs when it really gets down to november, imo. republicans are gonna hit this country over the head with "a vote for bernie = a vote for higher taxes", and it will work on americans :dead:
Yeah, no. They’re just going to vote for the actual republican, not the fake republican. This shyt has been proven over and over and over again. JFC

"they" was moderates, and you're right. they are gonna vote for the actual republican. they're not gonna vote for the socialist :heh:

barring an enormous economic downturn, i truly dont see bernie winning. i don't think it's really a radical, out of line opinion that bernie sanders won't beat trump in november :yeshrug:

and if it happens, ill gladly eat shyt on that. i'll be voting for bernie in november myself. but im not gonna lie and pretend like i see him beating incumbent trump

I perceive you as a fair-minded but not necessarily political person. The people who are saying they won’t vote are strongly progressive and there’s a feeling of “it’s our turn.” Once people get a taste of something, it’s hard to go back. It’s not like we didn’t see it happen twice already in the historically low 2010 and 2014 midterms. One would hope 2018 is a trend but I don’t know. Someone as intransigent as Biden is like the worst case scenario in convincing progressives.
