Well, there was just a Batman movie 3 years ago, so yeah. The Flash movie bombed. Aquaman isn't a strong enough brand (and Aquaman 2 flopped).
Supergirl seems to be a suitable choice.
I would've pivoted immediately into a DCU Wonder Woman, enough time will have passed since WW1984 (most people didn't see it cuz of covid anyway) and from there then we can get into Lanterns and now most of the JL would have been accounted for and there'd be at least 2 box office successes. Now we're getting into danger zone territory already.
I'm also not 100% sure if aquaman will be in this JL lineup. It's entirely possible he won't. I think Gunn's going to go with the cartoon JL roster.
If Supergirl's aim is to rebuild trust further and can be considered successful off 300-400 mil haul then sure, but anything further than that seems unrealistic tbh, especially with what it's competing with in the future
That's where I'm going with this, Supergirl may just be a mild success, and there's no big money box office sellers in sight right now.
Disagree, give us the stuff we havent seen, Supergirl, Green Lantern, Booster Gold, keep em coming.
I like what your trying to say but I don't see all these small time characters keeping the lights on.
Marvel lost fan faith by doing too many things we haven't seen, it is what is.
