With Lobo in there you already know it's gonna be crazy. I don't get caught up in the casting until I see actual footage from the movie. This board does it all the time, they said David Corenswet will be a wack Superman and he got rave reviews. They said Pattinson would be a wack Batman and that also got rave reviews

I just finished the comic the other day, it's good way to introduce this character they'll take some liberties for sure like adding Lobo. I'm really interested in how this film will look because the comics visuals are crazy.
I figure just go Rated R on some Suicide Squad/Deadpool shyt like let it be DCU after dark lol.

*Gunn will still want some young girls to show up and watch Supergirl.
*An R rating will be limiting its appeal when Supergirl doesn't have the biggest name recognition AND will be competing against Toy Story 5 at the box office.
Supergirl will be relying on her cameo in Superman and Jason Momoa's presence to make money at the box office lol.
Gun had Peacemaker in Superman though lol and Justice Gang gonna be in Peacemaker too. Look at Deadpool x Wolverine. I think at this stage they just want to use characters across properties but the dollars still catch all.
Yeah, for a short cameo where he's just trash-talking Supes.
Also, Peacemaker is a TV show not a movie.
Supergirl doesn't have the name rec of either Deadpool or Wolverine. Also, that movie was heavily reliant on decades worth of nostalgia.
Supergirl isn't a Flagship which makes it even more reason to "take it there" and show the different corners of the universe. As Gunn Mentioned the same actors can show up anywhere and it will be continuity. Look at Flagg Sr being in a cartoon and now the Supe movie.
And Supergirl will probably push the limit. It won't be rated R, though.

It could have potential. I think Gunn is going to be able to put together an interesting script that'll be able to make Supergirl come across likeable and relatable.
Don't know the route of mass appeal the actress has, but seems to have a decent social media following.
