Love that they didn't seem to go overboard with his powers, thats one of thr things that makes Supers so boring, hate it in JL how everyone was getting their asses kicked and then Superman comes in and ends the galactic threat in like 2 mins, what was the point of the Justice League?

True. But in a feature film format the problem has been that Supes can’t realistically lose multiple times to these dudes to raise tensions.

Once he meets Zod or Doomsday he has to find a way to win so we waste two hours on him fumbling on nonsense.

First cbm I'm gonna see in theaters since Endgame and the first I'll be hyped to see since Infinity War. This is being said as a huge fan of the Snyder films.

I think Gunn has listened to damn near everyone in his making of this movie. Snyder fans (the sane ones), Donner fans, animated fans, and comics fans all have something to be excited about with this iteration. shyt looks so lit, the same fatherless nikkas from a decade ago are still populating DC threads with passive aggression

My only worry is what my worry with any Gunn project is, and that's him going full Gunn. Peacemaker and The Suicide Squad showed me he could restrain himself. I'm also gonna need his villain designs to be a bit more intimidating when we get to the real heavy hitters of Supes rogues.
