I called it earlier with the Clayface being expedited. I won't be shocked if they tease Pattinson in Clayface and he is "older" while the mat Reeves stuff continues as earlier in his career (given the nature of the villains in the 1st one not being fantastical isn't a big deal, but Reeves is probably good on intro of the random humor) OR its just alternate universe

This makes too much sense

1. How reliable is this account?
2. I can see Gunn wanting to do this. Reeves stuff is Elseworld/different timline and Gunn can do Pattinson in his own fantastical stuff and Pattinson can show a less gritty batman.
3. I imagine Reeves is hesitant because he doesnt want his shooting/filming mixed up/delayed because Gunn is using Pattinson.

It does make sense if pattinson is batman in both universes.

Am I the only one who thinks this trailer doesn't look nearly as good as people are saying? Looks like the same over the top shytyy CGI in every single superhero movie we've seen. I got The Flash vibes from it.

what did you watch it on? I see it on phone, TV, and in Theaters. On Phone it wasn't mind blowing, on my TV it looked good, and in Theaters it looked Great + they included extra shots. I did get Flash energy from the Color Temperature of how they filmed it but thats it.

Nah, that tweet is BS. Matt Reeves doesn't want his version of Batman to be in the DCU and James Gunn respects that (he hasn't said anything to the contrary).

I don't think that Reeves Batman would fit in the DCU either. I personally don't care for a "grounded and realistic" Batman.

Superheroes SHOULD be fantastical, that's literally the entire point. They're science fiction.

I have the highest rotten tomato review for dark knight in my stash as well.

The trailer is getting mainly positive reviews from die hards and casuals. The only haters seem to be Snyder/Cavill fans. So now all that is needed is a decent movie and I believe success will be had. It doesn't even have to be great, people are ready to love Superman again.
