Common folk are confused as to what is canon and what is not in the DCU
You think Jimmy's mom who loves Superman but also loved the Penguin show, is also on a message board getting updates and reading articles to match up what matters and don't??

It’s pretty cut and dry what the differentiation is between DCU and Elseworld projects. If folks aren’t understanding it, then that’s on them.

Who gives a shyt about any of this? It's a message board. The internet could blow up tomorrow and we'd all be in the theater in July anyway
Which is my point.. The normal moviegoer is not on a message board, reading articles, keeping up to date on the casting and shyt like that. Hell, my mom's fav superhero is Superman and she didn't even know this shyt was coming out until I sent the trailer

So no evidence to support people are "confused" ....not even anecdotal. Just a bunch of speculation and guessing. Ok. Lol.
DCU projects will be labeled with the DCU symbol, and non-DCU projects will be labeled with the "Elseworlds" symbol.
If someone is still confused as to what's DCU and non-DCU, then it's simply going to miss them. Not everyone is going to "get it" and that's fine.
