This movie may change that. It's tracking for a huge opening, but BvS had a big ass weekend too then fell off a cliff. Word of mouth was disastrous for that movie tho.
Everybody's broke and not even a week ago were were a sneeze away from world war 3 I don't think it's gonna change any time soon:pachaha:

I think the movie will do fine but society's growing cynicism is definitely a factor in the reception and excitement levels about Superman

A Brainiac or Metallo film would be amazing to see, but we've had Lex as the main antagonist in nearly every incarnation.

Or gives us a Lex with TAS energy. Synder's autistic Lex didn't work in retrospect.
Eisenberg's Lex was an excellent portrayal and precursor to these awkward, God complex, sociapath tech bros we have now. He showed you Elon before nikkas knew Elon was Elon

Always thought the hate for that character was undeserved

Eisenberg put in a good performance and why wouldn't he? He won awards playing that fakkit Zuckerberg in 'The Social Network' so he can obviously play the tech bro role.

Problem is he didn't look or act anything like Lex. He should have been some other character.

HE WAS LEX LUTHOR JR
NOT LEX LUTHOR

I wanted to watch 'House of Cards' given that's my field but shytt.... once all that came out about Spacey I had to fall back
Even with the Spacey shyt, still a great show for them 4-5 seasons. He was the perfect Frank Underwood :manny:
