I can't get over how terrible that scene was... Byfar has to be most expensive terrible scene in human history.

That scene probably broke the whole movie for me. Snyder just told everyone he had no understanding of Superman. Some good action scenes can not make up for that error.
Despite all the issues I have with this 2025 movie Gunn got the character right. Superman himself I liked.
As for the most terrible scene ever the ending of 28 Years Later beats it by a mile

28 years later and 28 weeks later are two of the worst movies ever filmed.
Hopefully they hire naomi for 28 months later and fix it.

Finally saw this and wow came out with a multitude of emotions. I would seriously love to pick Gunns brain on some of the choices made. This film was on the verge of greatness/GOAT but frustratingly Gunn made some choices I don’t think were necessary. I do think the amount of humour was just too much for a Superman film. You can have light hearted heroism without an over abundance of comedy.
This is probably the greatest Lex Luthor ever put to live action but his threat and danger is undermined by the comic moments. This Lex was a problem through and through and checkmated Superman in all avenues and without aid Superman would have essentially been fukked. Yet when you start to feel his threat and callousness enter comedic moment. I did enjoy the movie don’t get me wrong I am just more so frustrated with certain choices. This Lois and Clark have the best chemistry of any Lois and Clark on screen. Both actors had so much chemistry you really believe that they are into each other.
Overall I would rate this leagues above MOS but Reeve the GOAT still holds the title for me personally and I would say David has potential to take this to another level. Gunn needs to tighten up the script and pacing on the next outing. I would say this is an 8/10 and could possibly have been a 10/10. I am planning to see this again hopefully things settle more for me with a lack of expectations while watching.
