was it better than Man of Steel ?

Two different types of movies, two different iterations of the character. I like both but others have more of a strong preference for one over the other. It's up to what you want to see out of Superman.

He literally loss to himself,then lost to kryptonite which of course was coming. I loved that they made Lex a real threat. Usually hes more of a threat just because Superman cant touch him,or he finds someone powerful to be his goon. This Lex literally showed why Lex Luthor is arguably Supermans greatest nemesis. Just goes to show how all these weak portrayls of Lex Luthor have done damage to his perception. The idea Superman could be bested by a human whos a technological genius is baffling these nikkas. Despite the fact they just saw Tony Stark doing it movie after movie. And i think its safe to say Luthor is smarter than Tony. So the only issue here is that Lex has taken a horrible P.R hit to his image due to poor portrayls over decades. If we are talking about actual world building this movie absolutely did its job making Lex Luthor great again. Even if you feel it was at Supermans expense

Superman and Supergirl may be the only Kryptonians, but they arent the only aliens.

Whose to say there isn’t some alien around who has knowledge of a lot of galactic languages. It wouldn’t be hard for a Green Lantern to contact someone who knows that language to verify it if need be.

Luther pulled a fire breathing giant Stitch out his ass and it didn’t shock anyone. So someone being around who can decipher that language is not a big stretch.

We just watched a movie where not only did a man create pocket dimensions that housed aliens from all over the galaxy but another guy showed up and hacked them immediately and the big plothole for yall is how was a language translated.

You are to ASSUME this happened, but it’s not even mentioned in the movie; Alex even said it was deciphered by humans.

All it would have taken was fukkin exposition, which is used so much in movies, to tell the audience the GL Corps did it.

But why would Lex even trust the GL Corps? They’re fukkin aliens too.
