I got 'Deadpool #1' in my collection thought it'd be worth a nice amount but in it's current condition if it was graded probably looking at $50

But I got a lot more older comics than that. Not really looking to sell though anyway

My favorite Superman comic is For All Seasons, it's the most stripped down and simple version of Superman (withe excellent writing and drawing) that you can think of.

Something like that but in the vein of the latest movie would be Grant Morrison's ALL-STAR SUPERMAN, which is a direct influence on the movie and Gunn's vision for the DCU.

so I went back to the theater to watch this for a second time since I fell asleep for the entire movie the first time I went.

anyways, I thought this was really good. mr terrific and the green lantern were standouts. as was nicholas hoult playing lex luthor.

he was FARRRR better than the bullshyt lex luthor jesse eisenberg played.

the guy who played superman was just fine. the new lois lane was also a big improvement over amy adams. I liked how they skipped the origin story bullshyt and got right into the action from the jump.

james gunn DEFINITELY did a good job rebooting this franchise :salute:

also, I went to see this last night for $6, and the entire theater was full except the first row. but that joint was still full despite this coming out a few weeks ago.

I was super into X-men 97 so I wouldn’t mind starting with X-men / wolverine
Just saw this.

If you like X-Men 97, a lot of that was stylistically lifted from Grant Morrison's New X-Men run. Another good run from around that time is Joss Whedon's Astonishing X-Men. Some good story arcs from that era are The Messiah Complex, Second Coming, and Schism.

Im tired of Superman movies where he just gets his ass whoppwd the majority of the movie.

One reason why I hate the Superman Returns movie
He bodied like 60+ nikkas in this movie. Mad Luther cry like a hoe. He beat up a woman (Marvel would never) and stomped out a retard (again Marvel would never)

I can't believe i like a live action DC movie more than a Marvel one. FF4 was lowkey trash.

Idk, the movie starts with supes being defeated and only survived because his dog dragged his ass to safety. :dead:

Yeah, and it was the first time anyone beat him in 3 years of being Superman.

Also, once again (I guess I have to repeat this a billion times), he was blindsided by an opponent who was a match for him in strength.

A clone of himself being aided by the technology of a billionaire.
