The more that I think about Superman's speech at Lex, the worse it gets. It's basically Superman begging Lex to accept him as "one of the good ones"

Superman: "I'M JUST A GOOD OL' ALL-AMERICAN COUNTRY BOY. Don't view me any different, Lex! "


As if his speech is going to change Lex's mind. Also, Superman shouldn't give a fukk about what Lex thinks in the first place.

Superman is an alien but that's not what matters. The thing that matters more is that he's empathetic and cares about humanity.

Inflation is a terrible argument. It's based on the assumption that a movie in the past would have the same attendance if it was released today, and it doesn't account for the difference in theater release windows.

Significantly less people are going to the theaters today as opposed to 2013, when Man of Steel released. 2013 had 1,339,166,251 tickets sold, last year only 760,482,781 tickets have been sold. That is a drop of over 500,000,000 tickets sold.

Man of Steel had a three month (90 days) theatrical run, Superman has a 30 day theatrical run. There if you divide Man of Steel's adjusted for inflation box office of $877 Mil by 1/3 (since today it would have only been in theaters for a 1/3 of it's 2013 theatrical run) it would make 292 Mill, which is 294 Mil less than Superman's 586 Mil box office.

Inflation seems like a good argument for why you cant expect people to go to theatres. Alot of people cant afford to pay 15-20$ to bring themselves and their kids to see the movies. Cheaper to wait til it streams a month later and watch it at home.

People are bashing Superman for looking weak because hes losing physical battles,and his strength is his strength.


Batmans strength is his intelligence and being the worlds best detective. Yet Penguin shows up and immediately calls him a dumbass for not being able to solve the riddle. Needs his butler and a gumshoe cop to get the other riddles. Stands directly in front of a bomb and stares at it while it counts down to zero


This is more egregious to me than Superman losing a damn fight to his own clone and the smartest man alive


And before yall tell me he just started. Your telling me Batman is not already a damn genius smh? Its alot easier to explain Superman getting beat up then Batman being outclassed in intelligence all movie.

Simple explanation is that Superman simply has no hands yet. Who cares how dumb Ultra Man is,arguably the best boxer ever cant read allegedly

This was a pretty solid movie. It's different from MoS, but I didn't find it necessarily better.

And why is it considered "pro-immigrant"? Because whites weren't the sole focus of the movie?

It can't be because Supes argues with Lex that's he's a human just like everyone else. That narrative has only been used for at least 30 years.

Finally got around to watching this, Pretty good, maybe 8.5/10. Good casting and Mr. Terrific stole the show.

My one big complaint is just TOO MUCH Krypto. They can barely go a scene without him and I got tired of that nikka about 30 minutes in. I get they want him to be the mascot and all but they just overdid it and ran him into the ground. How they gonna give a dog more screentime than Lois

Just finished watching it online... great movie... super hyped that gunn already added metahumans already in this universe. the lanterns exist hawkgirl, atlantis. etc etc. But the only thing i didnt like was the suit. I mean compared to the MOS suit this thing feels like a downgrade very basic...

And Lex luthor wow. man... Just wow what a highlight of the film... that's how you supposed to play him... obsessive, genius but not too over edgelord, understated rage.

Also the look on flaggs face at the end where the other guy said the metas are making the rules what is with that face was that a smile a smerik or something else??? I also think jimmy has powers but he doesnt know it... also he thinks tess is ugly bruh...
