I just want a note that the most nonsensical thing about Superman has always been him being super muscular
Muscle is developed and built through resistance and struggle.
Superman strong enough to lift... anything.
What's gonna build muscle exactly?

Man logically shoulda always been built like a regular-ass dude. Probably somewhat skinny if you assume his metabolism outstripes his caloric intake.

Batman need to put on bulk to stand up against someone like Aquaman who actually has superpowers.
Superman picking up cars as light work? How he supposed to train up his delts or his traps? Deadlifting aircraft carriers? Because unless he out there doing that... man should be built like a reporter.
