I get that some people have an issue with Krypto but Krypto doesn't bother me. Krypto is an alien dog with superpowers.

Also, Batman has Ace the Bat-Hound helping him from time to time. Are these animal sidekicks a bit silly? Yes but so what? :manny:

Comic book superheroes are a bit silly by default :manny:

Movie was very good

Loved Lex Luthor and Mr Terrific. Lex Luthor was like an Elon Musk that would actually be competent and smart. Mr Terrific was great all around.

Movie wasn't afraid to be campy & to talk about the politics of being a superhero and it elevated the movie a lot. Marvel can't do none of that political stuff and it prob hurt some of their movies like the last Captain America

The fact that this Superman meddles in conflicts and takes a stance on real stuff automatically elevates him over all these other police ass superheroes in these polished worlds

The running joke with Jimmy and the bimbos was corny

Some of the visuals were amazing, loved the superprison in the pocket universe, and the sun they created in there. That was one of those very comic booky moments well translated on screen

i'm looking at boxoffice rakings for superhero movies overtime, and avengers definitely changed the game, and subsequently $1B was possible. It wasn't before....it did $1.5B.

But unrelated...Men in Black 3 did $654mm :mindblown: wtf i don't remember shyt about that movie. Got damn peak Will Smith could sell ANYTHING :wow:

ITS DIFFERENT THOUGH...

LEDGERS DEATH, AND PERFORMANCE
HAD MORE TO DO WITH THAT
THAN IT BEING A SUPERHERO MOVIE.

IT WAS AN ISOLATED SITUATION
THAT HAD NO EFFECT ON
NON BATMAN MOVIES

Also, Krypto has "saved" Superman more than a dozen times in the comics. If you don't believe that then I can easily give you examples. You say you want these movies to be like the comics but then when they are, you're still complaining about it.
I didnt say superman should've never been saved by Krypto, it was just 1 time too many. We already had multiple scenes of superman being rescued by Krypto, they should've allowed superman to get a solid win at the end.

I just knew superman would adjust his strategy against ultraman at some point but he never does. Then once the cameras are destroyed, I thought superman would start getting the upper hand, but that doesn't happen, he still needs Krypto to come save him AGAIN against a functionally retarded ultraman.

I liked Krypto, he was the highlight of the movie, but they went overboard with him.

This was just a good, well made movie and that’s all people have been asking from DC for over a decade. Everything don’t got to set up a multiverse

Domestically....they kept quiet on the International Numbers cause it is tanking there along with FF4 and every other CBM...

Still won't reach 600 Mill but restored consumer confidence in the product.

This was the weakest we've seen Supes...well except for that time he gave up his powers in Superman II...

Bro the whole movie Superman was :deadrose: and needed to be saved.

You know what this shyt reminded me of? When the Autobots constantly needed humans to save them.
