Would a Superman video game work with the state of video games. I think it would, make it so there are choices/actions that would affect reputation.

He is overpowered to begin with, so maybe it would be hard to make a challenging game and one that will hold interest? Open world would get boring quick. Make it a linear game instead

Got have varied enemy types, basic ones can’t do damage but give the more advanced ones diff types of kryptonite. Give his varied powers a cooldown meter. Make diff mission types (rescues, fights, bombs, super villains, etc).

He's right. He relies on the creativity of the designer. They need to step it up. Should be a very fun game like Spider Man has been over and over again.

That's the bare minimum to make a Superman game work, but now you kinda strip away his speed, durability, strength advantage in the process just to have enemies he isn't invincible around. Now you have a flying guy that shoots eye beams and ice breath. He has no style(spiderman, dante) and isn't brutal(wolverine, kratos) so the game wouldn't even be satisfying to play

You remove why he's Superman though. The superman returns game were onto something with civilians and the city itself being something to protect. Or just take it off world Superman has plenty of powerful enemies.

Bruhs have no problem playing as op characters like Goku, Dante, Bayo, Kratos, or Asura from Asura's Wrath. But when it comes time for Supes it’s “nah he’s too op they have to nerf him.” shyts crazy especially since we’re about to get a Wonder Woman game.
