Almost everybody I explain it to says "hey, that's a nice idea"
Obviously some will be indifferent but mostly positive feedback.
Now getting them to buy in is another thing all together 
I'm reminded of both Dr. John Henrik Clarke and Dr. Edwin J Nichols.

Applied to my situation, It's seems like however objectively good my service sounds on paper people want to jump in on a ball that's already rolling having some semblance of comforting familiarity(or as the cacs call it "consumer confidence") & status with other people. Which puts me in a position to have to build personal man to man relationships(or as the cacs call it "branding myself") as a base to offer my services as opposed to simply pointing the man to object so that the object can sell it self.

You just made me think of something else.
Technically I could list only games deemed acceptable into the stash before hand, then simply list them as "quantity 0" if I have non on hand. That way I lower the chances of compromising the quality of games on hand. I mean I already did this to a lesser degree with sports games (no "league sports" games are currently taken as trades)Right now I take any game given and rest on the max capacity/reserve system to check/weed out excess garbage.

this might work better actuallyOriginally I was going to address that issue of quality or even rare games by adding premium private invite only stashes where groups of people could trade among themselves with videogamestashbox.com as facilitator to secure the trading process. But those functionalities are on the slate for inclusion after the core service is turning a profit. No time to code right now, most of my time is spent promoting and working my "pay the bills job".

Nahunless i missed something g2a.com is just an ebay clone dedicated to videogames.
The closest thing to what i'm doing is gamefly except i'm...
You get to pull a game from the stash by first putting a game into the stash(very simple and straight forward).
- less expensive
- no monthly fees
- not a rental service
I make my money by securing/facilitating the trade process, not by Selling/Renting games

While yes, this is a fund raiser for the business, this isn't a "dream" or "something I all ways wanted to do". This is a fully functional service right now ...today!

I.E I'm not someone with a wild idea looking for funds to "make my dream" ...or to the extent it is a wild idea I already took the initiative and funded it's creation myself. I'm looking for expansion funds and cost recoup funds ...so that I'm free to expand and advertise.
Example: A month worth of advertisements can run anywhere from $50 to $10,000 depending on the site. Given that I went into my own pockets to build & maintain this I need extra funds to actually grow it.
Clarity of Purpose:
1. This is an all or nothing campaign. Meaning if the full $9,000 doesn't materialize you get your funds returned automatically via Indiegogo. I get nothing unless total is met. so your risk is minimal.
2. There is already traffic/referrals to the campaign. The people who come are reluctant to jump in on lower earning projects. They want to see the status of a campaign that's already pulling in dollars.
3. There is a concurrent ad campaign going now pushing people to the project. Equal parts men and women are interested in the project.
4. What's needed from coli isn't full funding but a strategic push move that entices traffic to donate. Basically enough funds to give the project that status and alleviate fears. I'd say between $200 - $800 would be the range to thaw people out. At $1,000-$1,200 it'd be on auto pilot in terms of building confidence that their donation will make a dent.
Hopefully that clears up some things .....................
