I feel like Ironman doesn't get it's just do over Supreme Clientele so to see you defend it is very dope, I just think RZA was in a WHOLE other zone when he did OB4CL and Liquid Swords, but that's just my opinion.

Ever listen to the instrumental album for Ironman? Nearly every beat is extended like a half minute or more with extra flourishes on each song that give it a whole other feel. But even though I feel SC is Ghost's best album, Ironman is the best complete work RZA made in his career.

I always go with Ironman : for me it just feels more like a Wu album than SC, RZA producing it, more Wu features, more grimy too in a sense. And I get why Ghost prefers SC himself, it's much more "his" album than Ironman is imo, which way still part of Rza's 5-year plan. His production on the album is insane so that's why I personaly put it above. But I've been listening to SC these past days and it's really a 1a and 1b thing, can't go wrong with either. Ironman fits more in the first batch of solo albums, SC is Ghost taking off and creating his own lane.

IMO Ironman's a classic - but also a classic Wu album. Supreme Clientele is a classic but it's a classic Ghostface album. Maybe because we got more of him on it, as opposed to having to share the spotlight with Rae and Cappa.

I've always thought It's the best sophomore album by a Wu member too

Nutmeg is an insane song to open with. The first verse is basically Ghost doing the

shyt shouldn't work at all. If you read it written down, shyt looks like the list of words they would use to activate sleeper agents.

That second verse of 'One' is a masterpiece. :wow:

And that was just the first two tracks:mindblown:

And that's before we even get to the influence SC had on both production and rap that has lasted to this day...

Just my opinion
All the albums named are cinematic, and they all could be used as movie scores. But what rza did on the 2 I mentioned are literally perfect, iron Man is too but I digress.

Good looks breh, I gotta peep online. Sometimes the production genius gets lost below the rapping genius. I got a sealed copy of the Ironman instrumentals that I will never open :wow:

Ghostface Killah - Ironman (INSTRUMENTAL ALBUM) - YouTube

^ that playlist had most of them except Motherless Child:

Instrumental version additions & some descriptions:
Iron Maiden: +:52 (vocal sample in the extra time not in the rest of the song)
Wildflower: +:30
Faster Blade: +1:04 (a big chunk of this RZA drops the sample and just lets the drums work)
260: +:23
Assassination Day: +:32
Poisonous Darts: +1:04 (RZA kicks the drums up in the extra time)
Box In Hand: +:37 (love RZA playing around w/ the piano over the scratches in the extra time here)
Fish: same
Camay: +:40 (drops the jingle bells & plays around w/the drums, organ & sample)
Daytona 500: +1:01
Motherless Child: +1:05 (this is the same length as the longer version of the song that was on the Sunset Park sdtk but this is even different than the ending of that beat as RZA plays w/ the drums a little more & even brings in a different element right at the end)
Black Jesus: same
After The Smoke Is Clear: +:24
All That I Got Is You: +:3 (although mostly the same length, RZA plays w/ the drums a lot more on this version than the album version)
Soul Controller: -10 (this one is 10 seconds shorter even excluding the outro)
Marvel: -7
