agreed. do you know how many times I've been listening to some Nas/Jay-Z/some lyricist's song and years later, after hearing the song hundreds of times a certain line hits me like :ohhh: How come I never paid attention to this before? This is :wow:

what a fukking classic! This and Illmatic are my all-time favorite albums. A ton of memories with this one.

When I was making POND, I used to drive around doing business with this in the whip. Every day. Then I remember driving one of my actors (he hadn't heard SC in a long time, but remembered there was a track with a Redman verse) and we were spazzing rhyming Redman's shyt word for word.

This is the last certified hip hop classic imo. There have been great albums since then (not many), but none were every single song is superb and memorable.
Stillmatic and BP came out next year. :bronwtf:
