Me and my brother in law was talking bout this album and Cuban Linx like a year ago, he was like, he thinks this is the better album cause the shyt is literally like art, like just abstract :wow:
I don't agree but I cant get mad at the opinion either. To me Cuban Linx, SC, and Liquid Swords are the top 3 Wu releases

Yeah, I steadily go back n forth with those 3. I had on Liquid Swords the other night and in that moment I was like, you know what, GZA got this shyt!

But that's the sign of greatness. Like when you can go back and forth between albums and compare and contrast them and build different perspectives and outlooks on them and their qualities.

I know 1 thing, RZA put his vision, heart and soul into the production (more sequencing than production since a few tracks were done by various producers for Supreme) with these albums.

"Bottles goin off in the church, we broke the wine
slapped the pastor, didn't know Pop had asthma
He pulled out his blue bible, change fell out his coat
Three condoms, two dice, one bag of dope
Oooh! Rev. ain't right, his church ain't right
Deacon is a pimp, tell by his eyes"

Now tell me this wasn't some of the hardest lyrics you ever heard. Ghost put in historical work on this album. One of the greatest albums of all time.

I bought the cd used like a few weeks after it came out at a new/used/sell back cd store.

Then I bought a new copy so much cause the used 1 got so many scratches after a while.

That Mighty Healthy video 1 of the greatest videos of all time. I feel like that was the last of New York or East Coast Hip Hop in it's purest form :mjcry:

Breh those albums were amazing even now my nephew is 15 and he says listening to that shyt takes you too another world type of shyt.

Just the samples and the imaginations those kats came up with and on top of that they were great rappers.

RZA and them kats just went together like steak and eggs.

Yeah, see that's the mark of brilliance and genius. The fact that you can have another generation of music listeners come along and appreciate and enjoy the music too

RZA was so hard ahead of his time
