TDE has done a really underrated job building Rock's hype. He's always been a sort of an enigma in Black Hippy, laying down showstopper guest verses on posse cuts and some loosies here and there to show his potential.

Now that gangsta rap is on the come up again out west thanks to guys like Q and Vince Staples, this is the perfect time to strike and release a Rock album.

Money Trees Deuce as a single is an excellent, as Money Trees is the most popular song Rock has been on largely in part to him so it makes sense that he gets the sequel. TDE has an underrated fan base, and Rock is really the grandfather of the group so his approval amongst their fans is universal.

I think his tape can do some lowkey #s -- 30-40k. :manny:

Musically beautiful.... Jay Rock has a voice (perceptive)... I think he will deliver a near-classic/great album second only to Kendrick.

Money Trees Deuce has been on repeat for me since it dropped and after hearing this, I know Rock's album is gonna be one of the best of the year.
