I'm laughing just thinking about a "hip hop" site getting upset about a fukking rapper talking about running pockets.I'm not even a fan, but this is hilarious

Again, I agree that the concept of people getting their pockets ran by a stripper isn't new. That still doesn't make it ok. And then to try to flip that as 1: it's the guy's fault that a stripper decides to rob somebody, and 2: that someone's supposed to be cool with getting robbed, and just chalk it up as a loss is nuts.

the bigger issue is why does mainstream always celebrate only one female rapper at a time. part of the blame goes to hip hop fans.
there was a time when you can name drop several female rappers at a time including the lyrical ones , in today's time, the less popular more urban centric female ones like China Doll, CIty Girls thats kinda popular are the same stripper vibe types

I know Latinos been lurking Hiphop from way back when. Carrying record crates and breakdance don't mean they got stake in Hiphop. I know about the N word being slang in the streets but it was a time you ain't hear Latinos use the N word except when they around each other or in the privacy of their homes and wouldn't dare call a brotha the N word in any capacity of the word be it friendly or derogatory.
Female MC like Lyte, Salt n Pepper, Latifah all shared the limelight. It's only since lil Kim and the labeling of her being the queen bee and her alignment with Big who is arguably the best rapper ever, has there been any hierarchy with female hiphop artists.
