Yep, the crowd was HOT. It’s cool seeing the beginnings of their feud like that. Bret was still firmly a face, and Austin got a mixed reaction, and even though he had crowd signs, he wasn’t getting actual cheers. It’s amazing how the double turn would happen the following year.
