And get off my case. It's 3-4 months until these festival movies release. We need something to look forward to. I love that indiewire said it will be Mother levels of polarizing.

I remember watching A Bigger Splash and thinking there and then that Luca Guadagnino had next. The polarizing reception from audiences was insane to me because it was such pure cinema (and also a remake). There's not a shred of doubt on my mind that the plebs and mentally impaired wannabe connoisseurs will hate this.

dead ass I read it, shrugged, and then went back to reading PoliticoInteresting to see branches of the criticism are due to it having 'too much' plot, whereas I thought the OG would've benefitted from more of a plot/script.
