Because you're essentially telling someone that even though they're qualified for a position, they aren't allowed to attain/apply for the position. It's basically saying you will not make money...and that's a no go. And it becomes racist when you see that it is being used in predominately black dominated sports.Ok ill bite
How in earth is this rule racist?
It was made because guys like kwame brown came into the league and were not ready
The Mario and Luigi of basketballNo lie was told.
Both Gundy brothers been advocates for getting rid of this rule for years.

Here we go lol. Coli bout to hop on his dikk heavy now![]()
They so blatant with it too. Bomani was talking about how hockey and baseball players are allowed to sign with agents while basketball and football players cant. Like how more blatant can you get

Yea. If you're drafted outta high school (you're automatically eligible) you can refuse to sign with the team that drafted you and go play in college. If you go to a 4 year college you gotta stay for three years and can enter the draft again after that. If you go to a jr college, you can be drafted after 1 year (like Bryce Harper).Btw, in baseball can't you get drafted and still play college ball?
Where that SVG mixtape cover at? That shyt is tough. It be having me rolling everytime I see it.teach your kids to play CTEball instead of pitch hit catch, get 300M ball brehsYea. I'll be honest. From a pure basketball/NBA standpoint, I got no problem with an age limit. In fact, I wouldn't have an issue with it being 21. Most of these kids coming into the league simply aren't ready and take mad long to develop, and just from a fan's perspective I'd rather ready made players come in. The NBA is a private enterprise, so let them do whatever the hell they want.
The issue I have is only with the NCAA and their slave labor. Burn that motherfukker down to a crisp. Or hopefully these kids either start looking at their other options (international) or some American businessman/men come together and take advantage of an opportunity to create another league on some ABA shyt where these guys end up with an avenue to get paid to play in their league.
Agreed. People talk about baseball and hockey but they've had minor leagues forever, I don't believe the G league has even seen 20 years yet.
Dont be ignorant and uninformed.
How is the rule racist?
Ill prove my point you got dudes like jonathan isaac one and done drafted 6 and in the d league.
Very rarely you get a lebron kobe or kg out of high school but 98% of the time you getting a kid that isnt ready. If he develops his game until he 21 he could drastically reduce his chances of being a bust.
Instead these kids rushing to the league where they dont even play.
People bring up the $$$ and helping they family. But what kinda money they making in the dleague and how is dleague money helping they family?
The rule aint racist the rule is there to get guys to develop and figure out their future instead of trying to rush to the league with no backup plan
teach your kids to play CTEball instead of pitch hit catch, get 300M ball brehs
) caliber football players or lil hoopsters who can compete at a D1 school one day, most of y'all kids wouldn't even crack the roster of the Brooklyn Cyclones, regardless of how much "teaching" you give your little bundle of vicarious regrets
This. 2Popovich Shakur and Kerr talk reckless all the time and throw in some socially “conscious” shyt in the mix and suddenly it’s time to call the engraver for the NAACP image award. FOH
