Just curious, up until recently you believed the earth was round...what changed your mind about this? Was it a YouTube video?
I thought anyone who believed the Earth was Flat was a moronic lunatic as recently as December 2016. I've only been on this Flat Earth tip for the last 12 months or so.
(1) What changed my mind was finding out that there is no evidence of curvature on the Earth. There are countless pictures and videos showing buildings and mountains ten to hundreds of miles in the distance that should be behind thousands of feet of curvature. And yet they are there for the world to see. On a round ball the size science says we live on right now, these images should not be possible.
(2) What changed my mind was actually seeing images of the Earth from high altitude balloons where the Earth is perfectly flat at elevations over 100,000 feet. These high altitude balloons have cameras on them that don't have a fish eye lens so there is no artificial curvature being produced by the camera. What you see instead is a flat plane where the horizon rises up to eye level at over 100,000 feet. On a globe the size we are told, these images would not be possible. We would see the horizon fall the higher we climb. Instead as high as we can send high altitude balloons, you see the horizon rise to eye level.
(3) What changed my mind was seeing obvious CGI being used by NASA in faking being in space on the International Space Station. I already knew the Moon missions were a hoax. But I assumed the reason they did was for geopolitical reasons. To trick the Russians. Well if that was the case, then why would NASA need to continue to fake the ability of space travel to this day? All it takes is a short search on YouTube for videos entitled "NASA fakes space" to see overwhelming evidence that what NASA puts forward as authentic space travel is a fraud. There is countless evidence of "bubbles in space". Obviously there are no air bubbles in space. Those videos are being shot in underwater swimming pools to fake space walks. The same is true for inside the International Space Stations. They are shooting that shyt on earth so there are countless videos showing obvious use of wires and harnesses that have been taken out using CGI but still the evidence of their existence remains.
(4) What changed my mind was finding out that there are no real pictures of the Earth from space. All those images I took for granted my entire life of the earth in space are actually just computer composites created by a guy at NASA using Photoshop. That was the smoking gun to me. If we actually lived on a globe, how could there be not a single real image of the earth from space? Now NASA does claim to have one "real" image. It was taken in 1972 during one of the Apollo missions to the Moon. But since we know the Moon landings were a giant hoax, that renders that image inadmissible as evidence of a true picture of the Earth.
I could keep going on. There are so many other things that made me start to question whether everything I had been taught was a lie. Now this didn't happen suddenly. At first I looked to debunk these points. I didn't wanna believe this conspiracy because I liked the globe earth and the possibility of space exploration and life beyond earth. I was also an atheist and didn't really desire the existence of a God. But at a certain point I had to accept the OVERWHELMING EVIDENCE that we are being lied to about the Earth we live on.
Now I've said repeatedly, I'm not sure the Earth is flat. I have no idea what shape it is. All I know is we're being lied to. There's a lot more mystery to our reality than we're being told.
