Both are Hall of Famers and in their prime were dominant, so I wouldn't expect both of their franchises to drop off significantly. But I think a prime KG would be more likely to help the Mavs win a ring than Dirk helping Minnesota winning a championship.

It really comes down to the fact KG was the more complete player and was elite on both sides of the court in his prime...

Nah they wouldnt have been able to even get by the Spurs/Lakers...KG//Nash/Fin wasnt beating the Kobe/Shaq teams.

I dont really see mavs winning a chip with KG swapped with dirk in the nash era
nash, finley, kg, juan howard/van exel winning a chip ? nah I dont see it

couldve gone further in the offs, but still doubt theyd get a chip

now in 06, its interesting, but KG certainly would have to carry the offensive load just as dirk did
