@MegaTronBomb! Is right..back in the early 90s there were people we knew who could freestyle or people in general..we never said freestyling was a prerequisite to being a dope mc..we just recognized that they did things that other rappers couldn't..not that they were doper than other rappers,..than later on ..these nerds started to say that you had to be a dope freestyler to be a dope mc, when back then it wasnt like that..so what if mistah fab can freestyle..he still can't rap better or put out better music than Nas, Pac, Tribe, etc, all the other 1000s of rappers..I mean there are like a 1000 rappers that can rap better than Fab and supernatural and Juice..c'mon..

You better be ready to spit when you go to any radio show

2009 is a long time ago in rap breh...Papoose still had next in 2009.

most radio shows currently....do not have rappers rapping on them, they're usually chopping it up with them, finding out more about them or promotion for an upcoming project or something they've recently done.

hip hop radio shows have shifted away from " we're gonna bring rappers on the show to rap for y'all" and to " we're bringing rappers on the show, to talk about the life they live and the backstories about all the gossip and shyt they post on instagram/twitter"

Take a look at the Breakfast Club..... all the rappers they have on there, and once in a blue moon... you might get somebody that raps.

rapping and being put on the spot to freestyle are two very different things.

i guarantee you,if you walked up on 99% of rappers and said " rap, right now"...they'd all give you the :what::whoa::rudy:

granted, them nikkas should've done some research on the show they're going on ( as anybody should to know what to expect)...but still, the fact remains that not being able to freestyle≠ you can't rap.

This is just something for nikkas to be fake mad about today...y'all actin like y'all don't know T.I,Dro can rip:childplease:?...and pretend to be dissapointed cuz you thought Big Kuntry was better than that:laff:...having a written prepaired for a random beat don't always work out well like that doe b verse....Sway does ask nikkas to freestyle but let's not act like freestyling on Sways show is the same thing as freestyling on the basement on rap city where nikkas gon be talkin about it the next day....folks familiar with the Wakeup show know the history but not everybody would know about that.

and plenty dudes came up battlin against they homeboys or freestylin in the lunchroom with they boys....a lot of them who won't drop a TRUE freestyle can freestyle to a compitent level without stopping but it will be some wack shyt that sound like its from the 80's and y'all will clown they azz for freestylin wack and they take theyselves too damn serious.

I've seen some of the greats decline to freestyle, and then freestyle at othertimes,REAL freestyles...sometimes nikkas just ain't in the mood when they established or just cuz they don't feel like itd:manny:

New nikkas declining to do it kinda shows a sense of entitlment somewhat, like they don't got to cuz they already on cuz they signed to T.I...so I'm glad Doe B did it,and Doe B is actually a dope nikka who put out a dope mixtape(Baby Jesus)...folks hear he couldn't freestyle and now in here clownin em for it sayin how wack he is,and not to many givin em props for at least tryin...sounds like it ain't worth it

I always enjoy the legends like Kurupt,Snoop,Common who will freestyle and don't care if it sound extra basic bcuz they know its just for fun,and know nikkas know they skills...alotta cats got that ego that won't allow them to put wack bars out there and will die before they do it though....written freestyles is probaly what fuked real freestyles up for everybody in the first place...bcuz now dudes have a false idea of what a "freestyle" should sound like...can't believe y'all can be in here requestin written "freestyles" than preach the sanctity of freestyling.:heh:
