How was the Reed Dance? :shaq:
breh, to this day i'm kicking myself for not attending at least one of those.
i don't remember whether it was free or you had to pay something to attend, but you definitely could attend, even as an 'outsider'.
my parents visited me once and they went to it and they enjoyed it - now - my parents are old school africans,
so they obviously went for spiritual 'african' reasons,
but i, of course, would've went to check out some boobies!!the princess especially is very cute!!
and they'd always publish pictures in the newspapers a day or two after the reed dance!!

anyway all jokes aside, i enjoyed my stay in the country.the people are very friendly, although they tend to keep to themselves.
thw whole country is like 1 big tribe from what one of my swaziland friends told me.

Aren't they a super rich country?
yep, or at least the king is.
i don't exactly know the money situation of the country, but a huge number do live in poverty.
i actually went to the poor areas and it doesn't look good.
and before i left there were even rumblings about some being very unhappy with the king
this apparently is unheard of,according to a swazi friend of mine, the king is like the father,so they never go against him.
they usually only voice their unhappiness to the government (fyi: swaziland has a dual government system.they have a monarchy with constitutional provisions)

What's Swaziland like bruh?
:lupe:

Also Namibia?
:lupe:
swaziland is extremely beautiful. i come from a desert country, so the weather was one of the things that appealed to me.
i love rain and it gets foggy, which is something you do not see in namibia.
because of the amount of rain the country gets, the countryside is always green and i just love the smell of nature.
i already stated in a previous post, that they live on a mountain basically.
this was just strange to me, seeing houses so high up. the streets are so close to the edge,
i'd sometimes while driving feel like 'holy fukk, one wrong move and you'll fall off or something'.
i lived in the capital mbabane. the city is pretty modern.the roads suck though. that is one of my complaints, the pot holes!!
the people are very friendly. the women do not have that 'stuck-up' vibe at all.
i do not know whether that is a cultural thing, but they are very approachable. i was macking on this one beautiful woman
that worked at a shop close to a petrol station.damn, she was fine. it didn't last, but damn it was hot while it lasted.
the people are very healthy and fit, because a lot of them walk to a lot of their destinations and they do it from a young age.
ah, i could go on for a bit more, but you people can see how much i loved my time in swaziland!!
:wow:beautiful!!!

as far as namibia, i really could go on forever, cause i love my home country. it is the best place on the planet to me.
i'll write some shyt later!!!
