None of the behind the scenes shyt makes any difference to me as long as I enjoy the final product; I have nothing personally invested in Drake
That said, almost every song on Views has at least 1 sample, so that also factors into the writing credits total. Classic groups like EW&F didn't use samples, they played live instruments, so that's not really a solid comparison
