I lived in Stockholm. I was living in the downtown area where I worked so for a year I barely saw any brehs which made sense to me cause I’m like it’s Sweden.

Then I start hitting this girl who lives outside the city. I get to her area and I see nothing but brehs. I’m like wtf? They got literally apartheid over here??

Then I learned that at the time there were mad issues with gangs and these areas already - it’s like white Swedish people wanted their safe Stockholm city bubble and whatever happened outside they didn’t care about.. until it became a problem to them. But the police is soft and the justice system is a joke. I did see police actually beat up nazis protesting in downtown Stockholm, dudes were hardcore and with it.

I only ever went to Malmo myself but the concept of suburbs in Europe is different from the US. Cities usually grew from their old center where the wealthy can usually afford pushing prices up and pushing people who can't to the outskirts and so on and on.

Which is often why Euro hoods are in the burbs compared to the US where the city planning didnt necessarily revolved around an old touristic center. Now Im not swedish so this could be different there but I wouldnt be surprised if it's not.
