There was a lot of garbage 3rd party ports happening with the OG Switch. Yes Square, Atlus, Capcom, etc brought good stuff but a lot of 3rd party games were unplayable.

I mean I played them on my PS5. Nintendo is nowhere near where they were with the SNES where 3rd party success was giant for them.

NBA 2K22 was horrible on the switch , it didn’t even feel like a ps3 version.

I got a 5,6 & 8yr old. All gamers, they don't give a shyt about the switch. Minecraft >>>>>>

Gamepass feeds them well, they have everything they've asked for on Nintendo. It doesn't resonate with them the way you'd expect from a Nintendo product. Clearly Nintendo is targeting teens and young adults with these newer systems but they're not committing to that enough to factor.

Because my kids won't give a shyt if Kirby is 4k/120fps. 1080p/60 at a much lower entry pricing makes way more sense. GameCube was a mild flop, Wii-U was a bigger flop... I think Nintendo is due for another?
