I agree for the most part but if you've ever played some of these switch games on 55 in true HD tv... It makes the games look almost like a generation and a half older.

The next zelda or metroid game can't be looking like that

They can and they will, and they will move units regardless. :skip:

I think a lot of you don't realize what DLSS is. If the switch pro is actually DLSS capable it could compete with ps5 not just ps4.

$400 is a steep ask for what they are offering. I mean, not even a 1080p screen?

My original switch doesn’t work any longer so I’ve been waiting for an announcement of the switch pro, but if it’s actually $400 then I’ll just stick to the original.

It would prob be best if they made it 349.99 and finally lowered the price of the OG switch to 199.99 or even 249.99

I think (hope) that's what is going to happen. $349, $249, $149 for Pro, OG, Lite. Big enough gap where one shouldn't cannibalize the other's sales

Nintendo also has to be very clear to the casual consumer that this isn’t the NEXT switch, that its just another refresh. The last thing you want is for people to stop buying the original switch because the new HOT switch is sold out everywhere, so they’re just gonna wait.

But then again, Nintendo sold like 20 iterations of the DS without cannibalizing their sales.
