Worker abuse isn't rampant over there now without the law, and with no min wage.Worker abuse isn't exactly rampant over there. When you have a guaranteed income, big business has to make menial work attractive for you, rather than letting a bunch of who they see as replaceable grunts fighting for scraps. It's a "worker's job market" as opposed to an employer's (at least at the low-wage level.)
Its funny that the catastrophic no min-wage theories do not play out in reality, but are still maintained by liberals with absolute certainty...
compared to Switzerland, things would be worse. If we had a stronger safety net through other means, maybe we wouldn't need it either.
