Mass Appeal showcase on Friday is some shyt i gotta get into lineup is Nas, A$AP Mob, B.o.B., FlyLo, Boldie James and some other weird shyt. Gonna be in line early for that shyt

im not that good with austin geography but if you plan on staying all day you can drive downtown but parking is a bytch and it's like $20 usually, that's what i do but it's seriously the worst thing ever looking for $20-30 parking downtown and its all taken up smh i hate it. if you got the $ i would take a taxi that way you can get as fukked up as you want, too

get there early and park near the capitol, its metered but u aint gotta pay 30 for a parkin spot in some garage that everybody gon be leaving from at the same time.

But if u plan on going to any showcase with a big name get there early brehs last year I ain't see kdot and Raekwon cuz I lined up like at 5-6 shoulda lined up hours earlier

Is it just me or did rap acts like take over this festival. It seems like a straight rap event now. I know bands still perform there, but it seems like once hip hop found out about SXSW, they all started to come in flocks. Correct me if I'm wrong.

I feel the same way. The biggest acts the last two nights have been Big Boi and Questlove.
