Meant to say this after Season 3 was over, Alice and Julie had to be one of the biggest characters swap I’ve seen on a tv show. Season 1 Julie was scum of the earth hated by all while Alice was beloved everywhere. She might have been more popular than Margo, which is blasphemy.

Season 3 finishes and Julie might be the shows fan favorite while Alice is loathe eveywhere. Couldn’t tell you how much I hate Penny and Penny is more liked than Alice. What a heel turn.

I never watched the Harry Potter movies until this year, but now that I've seen Harry Potter I think the intention of the Alice character was to create a little miss perfect "Young Hermione" character and turn her into a monster.

I still like Alice...she was always wound too tight and that ended up leading her down a fukked up path so I am eager to see her redemption arc especially since the show managed to take Julia from being a massive a$$hole to a fan favorite with the redemption arc they gave her.
