So I had to go to an emergency room two weeks ago and according to that doctor is was an allergic reaction and low blood sugar. But when I saw my psychiatrist afterwards, he said some of the skin abnormalities could be my diabetes acting up. Except for cigarettes, I live a healthy lifestyle. I was beating up on myself past two days because I thought I injured my penis, but just had a realization, that I barely please myself for a person abstaining from sex, so not sure if that's possible. I didn't mention the penis thing to either of them.

7 months ago, I was living much differently, very self-destructive and unhealthy. None of that is part of my life today. So at this point I feel I'm mis-diagnosed and over-medicated right now and may be having adverse affects.

So i have a doctor's appointment tomorrow with primary physician and dermatologist coming up this week, who would u mention this stuff too? There's skin irritation all over, but I'm worried about my penis which has strong itching, open sores, and number 3 pain. I got two HIV test this year and think I'm good though because it only takes 6 months to be detectable right?

I know diabetes, hypertension, and mental illness are chronic and tend to change over time, but still, meds are not always needed if u're disciplined and motivated to change your lifestyle. Maybe I need a few more years to get of this stuff? All I know is that I better not catch an infection, and I'm no longer buying bargain hygiene products.

hm i had a roommate some years back who was diagnosed with type 2 diabetes at only 21/22. he was mad sick n went to the hopsital and thats how they diagnosed him. but what was interesting was that he complained of these cuts or sores on his penis. he drew me a picture and said there were like these slits on it and it hurt a lot every time he peed. he said they were running tests on herpes and one doctor thought thats what he had, while another doctor said it wasn't. i remember it being a big deal bc he had cheated on his girl, and thought he contracted herpes so he told her. he eventually said that the cuts were due to the diabetes and i was like :comeon: but honestly idk what the hell ended up happening, but he stopped talking about it and i damn sure wasn't gonna ask. then he moved out shortly after. i bumped into him actually a few weeks ago and he looked like shyt. mad fat with mad scars in his face. not sure if its due to his diabetes or shaving or what. he just didnt look good. sucks cuz he's young. take care of yourself fam and talk to any medical professional so they can look at it and refer you if necessary.

Yeah checked in with two people in a general way. Going to let primary doctor know what's up tomorrow, and see if he suggest talking to dermatologist on monday.

Things just happens when we get older (I'll be 31 soon), gotta practice acceptance and faith. Hard not to snack on junk and smoke cigs though. Not good with stress and I'm a perfectionist.
