Whats missing from the home is accountability. Character is more important than race, I've been able to make bonds with people I never thought I'd associate with because of shared values.
You can't build a community off blackness alone, there needs to be a value system in place
.

This entire post is digging down deep, nothing but pure facts. Every single thing you touched on.

I can say speaking as am upper middle class Black man who came from the projects, a lot of Black people with money are on some 'I got mine' shyt so I'm good. I tried to bid for a space to bulld a supermarket and getting likeminded people is was like pulling teeth because I wanted it built in a what used to be a rough neighborhood. The other thing, for as rough as it was pre integration we had built an infrastructure, we as Black men haven't built that even with some people with money as a collective. Too much of our money is built on sand if that makes any sense.

It is what it is. I be on some get money individualism too even though i know individualism probably aint the right move. Even if i get a lot of money it aint going to change things for the better for my people and i thought changing things was the point. It is a lil depressing to think about but i gotta accept it.

Do black people get the chances to build anything before the man infiltrates sets him up or find a reason to shut him down
They keep moving the goalposts against us.

Thast why all of our black money is in entertainment but we frequently see how limited their reach and influence really is when shyt gets real.

The following examples don't even begin to even scratch the surface, OF the surface, of Black wealth and resources in America in 2021.

It is tho
Poverty which equals poor education
Ignorant parents teaching ignorant kids
And Black people as a whole being held out of real jobs

But you are missing the point in what I am saying. I acknowledge all of those things, and that all of those things are a result of systemic racism. Can you acknowledge that, that same systemic racism that put us there is not an excuse for us to still be there in 2021? Many, many Black people have come from exactly what you have described, and have achieved success. I am one of them. You, ironically, may be as well. So it's not an excuse. A large swarth of us are clinging to bad practices, making bad decisions, and reinforcing self destructive behaviors, IN 2021, and systemic racism cannot continually be blamed for that. At some point, ACCOUNTABILITY is going to come for its dues.

You think systematic racism isn't still going on:mjlol::mjlol::mjlol:

Nowhere in my post did I come even remotely close to saying some stupid sh*t like that, and for you to even make such a deliberate and egregious reach shows your ulterior motive to simply troll and disrupt. One more wild outlandish sh*t-post like that and you will get reported for derailment. As for everything else you said, it's false. You sound defeatist and weak. There is no room for you and your ilk any longer.

No, I don't agree with you, because systematic racism is the cause of the issue

I think Black culture is toxic, but I also think it's an extension of American culture, which is love of the bad guy
Black people are just more susceptible to it, because Black people are more likely to live next to other Black people

And when middle class Black people live next to lower class Black people, their kids can influence their kids
Casanova practically said it in a DJVlad video, "That's why is important not to raise your kids in the hood."

How are some ppl supposed to try to do better, when the culture , and their peers, and adults in their lives who went on the same "bad" path are already defining for them what's good?

The root of it all is lack of money, which is because even when we were doing better, white people kept trying to hinder us

I've been going through waves of feeling like that since my 20s :wow: I'll spend a few years just doing for self, then get back community-minded, see a bunch of detrimental regressive sh*t from the community, then go back to being individualistic. I still go back and forth til this day.

how do we fight things like that crenshaw mall fiasco where the black group was willing to pay more than everyone else, but they moved the goalpost?

Tidjane Thiam being pushed off the class ceiling as well?

Black houses confirmed being evaluated at 100K$ lower if they dont have a white person standing in?

We need institutions backed on leverage that protect us. We are ass naked in the wind right now

I've been acknowledging that since the OP, and literally just acknowledged it in the post you're replying to, and you still don't get it. Your mind still just can't move forward. You are exactly what I was referring to in the OP when I said people realize the reaches of systemic racism, and their brains just stop cold. That's it. It's systemic racism, everything can be traced to it, and that's it. Done.

You have to move past that. Think!

No they don't CACs may like to watch sons of Anarchy and admire their toughness but you never see them let bikers beyond a certain point in town in real life. I live with Italians in NJ, they hate mafia dudes.
Why are shows about criminal cacs so popular then? Outlaws always are idolized, especially by young men regardless of race.

The same way you fight anything, by improving yourself FIRST. We can have the world handed to us tomorrow and we'd destroy it in a matter of days because WE ARE NOT READY. We haven't fixed ourselves enough INTERNALLY. Once we better ourselves from within, then we can attack all of these other things that systemic racism is leveling against us.

Tupac summed it up really well with this analogy, many years ago:
"..and although it seems hea-ven-sent, we ain't ready, to have a Black pre-si-dent"

What he meant, wayyy back then, is exactly what I am saying now- we have to start by fixing ourselves from within. And that starts with accountability, which starts with letting go of the systemic racism excuse.

"We ain't read to have a Black president".... we aren't ready to have the world handed to us right now. We are too divided to stand. And what happens to anything that cannot stand? It falls.. even with all of mankinds riches at our fingertips. All we would do is self-destruct, while rich. Because we haven't fixed ourSELVES.

Systemic racism is indeed how we got to this point, but there’s no excuse for why we’ve chosen to stay here. And for so long. Far too often you hear people use systemic racism as an excuse for all the present day drugs and violence in our community. All

I wasn't going to reply because it would be talking to a brick wall
But Black people do hold other Black people accountable
You don't hear about nikkas doing drivebys and nikkas saying "Systematic RACISM!"

We're talking about us as a whole

You even have the nerve to quote me NOT saying anything remotely close to "systemic racism doesn't exist". :snoop:
