my issue with this bullshyt ass accountability argument is that people will continue to ignore the psychological aspect that the environment breeds its inhabitants. accountability can not be introduced in impoverished communities because they are not apart of normal society. they are disenfranchised. separated. redlined. etc.

if you black & grow up in the burbs you do not come near drive by shootings or any acts of senseless violence. the most violence you might come in contact with is a fist fight. thats just normal conflict thats a part of nature.

saying the disenfranchised need to be held accountable because there is an endless cycle of senseless violence that will not be broken until those communities are assimilated into society properly is pointless.

if you want to hold anyone accountable let it be the politicians you give your vote away to for free every election period. they dont do a got damn thing for you.

this is what i was talking about earlier. We all got a job or hustle we work trying to get money on some individualism shyt but the politicians and ceos be having secret invite only meetings. pulling our pants up and all that better morals shyt and trying to beat a rigged game dont sound like a winning play to me. Not when the other side meeting up and working on plans that will make (and keep) themselves rich and powerful and fukk us over at the same time.

Nothing wrong with taking the past into account...but as Nas would say, life begins right now.

Black folks need a collective continuity break so we can start new chapters and forge new pathways to success and safety.

It's some type of racism
fukk that
I won't Accept it.
They holding us back and down in every facet

fukk that
All these nikkas wit degrees and can't find a job In They field they know

fukk that

You think systematic racism isn't still going on:mjlol::mjlol::mjlol:

Capitalism is a white supremacist system and whites will primarily benefit from it. At best some black people will be rich by exploiting darker skinned people around the planet

What's crazy to me is grown ass men using that excuse. You a grown man, toughen up and go get it.:dahell: Society will NEVER feel sorry for black men and they show as hell not gone respect you.

You cant win a game where the number 1 rule is you cant win because you are black

I dont know what moral changes nigguhs think they can make to overcome white supremacy and capitalism. And like yall like to preach on here that black folks aint a monolith. Too many different opinions and agents and beefs and arguments amongst black folks for me to believe some huge collective efforts are going to be happening.

Black academia has not done anything more for the masses of Black people than the entertainer.

Systematic racism isn't just a buzz word
It actually means something
Black people as a whole are not going to catch up
The damage has been done, mentally and financially
You can't just work hard your way out of that

how do we fight things like that crenshaw mall fiasco where the black group was willing to pay more than everyone else, but they moved the goalpost?

Tidjane Thiam being pushed off the class ceiling as well?

Black houses confirmed being evaluated at 100K$ lower if they dont have a white person standing in?

We need institutions backed on leverage that protect us. We are ass naked in the wind right now

:mjlol: No matter what type of belief you have as a black person in America there's always going to be another black man to tell you to pull your pants up and so many ways.

The same way you fight anything, by improving yourself FIRST. We can have the world handed to us tomorrow and we'd destroy it in a matter of days because WE ARE NOT READY. We haven't fixed ourselves enough INTERNALLY. Once we better ourselves from within, then we can attack all of these other things that systemic racism is leveling against us.

Tupac summed it up really well with this analogy, many years ago:
"..and although it seems hea-ven-sent, we ain't ready, to have a Black pre-si-dent"

What he meant, wayyy back then, is exactly what I am saying now- we have to start by fixing ourselves from within. And that starts with accountability, which starts with letting go of the systemic racism excuse.

"We ain't read to have a Black president".... we aren't ready to have the world handed to us right now. We are too divided to stand. And what happens to anything that cannot stand? It falls.. even with all of mankinds riches at our fingertips. All we would do is self-destruct, while rich. Because we haven't fixed ourSELVES.

My dad always told me that even if your ceiling is not where other's are placed, no matter what you better be hitting your head wherever it is.

We as black people understand the game has been rigged and racism cannot be ignored. But we can not allow that to be the reason we do not excel to our highest high. Not trying because the game isn't fair just simply isn't good enough. Ironically we wouldn't be free if our ancestors just quit because it was unfair.

Systemic racism creates a conundrum of issues.

Sociological/Medical/Educational/Economics, all are factors in why we are as a race in America today. All those have been influenced by a large part, white supremacy.

I dont believe in free will, our choices and decisions in life are predicated of a aggregate genetic range of what we are predisposed to.

centuries of racism stack up in terms of whats encoded in peoples genetic sequence

Systemic Racism is a diagnosis. It is not a prescription.

Systemic racism rears it's ugly head again :ohlawd: this time it made nikkas kill two teenage Black girls AND injure a 9 month old baby boy.

Baby boy's life will be negatively altered forever with such a debilitating injury. There is no 'safe' way to send a bullet crashing through such a tiny body without that tiny body suffering extremely, life altering, LIFE-LONG repercussions. No sports, might be crippled, no normal interaction with girls.God damn sytemic racism does it to us again :ohlawd:

We just need more rap hits to blow up, daring nikkas to "come get it back in blood! burr burrrr!" :ohlawd:

The system that cause our situation is still in place. Like some pointed out, there were attempts to better our community, but they got snuffed out. So i wonder how people who want ignore systematic racism are going to prevent situations like that again?

Black history is filled with examples of what you're talking about. Every single time we create a self sustaining community they destroy it. Whether its Seneca village or rosewood, they always come in with the power of institutional racism to destroy what we build.

Some peoples spirits have just been broken and there is no desire to try anymore. People who think that what they have will just be taken away don't try to obtain anything they cant expend quickly.

The black lower class like the white lower class will benefit from medical care, supplementary education and after-school programs, and things like job training programs, paid time off and fair wages.

Give people easy access to medicine and they will be less likely to self medicate with drugs and alcohol. Give job entry programs to former felons and they're less likely to enter back into the system. Give kids guest speakers and black teachers who can break the knowledge down in a way that seems relevant and you'll have less kids skipping school. Make college more affordable and you'll have less kids saying 'im not smart enough to get in, and even if i did, I can't afford it'. Give parents daycare programs and they're less likely to neglect their kids. This kind of stuff has a precedent for working. Neighborhoods were more peaceful when the black panthers ran things because they produced security, they fed people, they educated people and they gave parents relief. Naturally the white establishment had to attack them.
That’s what I saw saying in the Socialism/Communism is Pro-black thread but apparently I’m a CCP agent for advocating for stuff like this

We need an Afro Renaissance and a cultural revolution. That’s the only way, half of the problems in our community is our mentality. We need to go back to the old ways
