She can't sing and isn't dedicated to her craft enough to improve? Let's not forget Weeknd used to be terrible live. He's still not some great singer outside the studio, but he has greatly improved and can put on a good show now. SZA is more than capable of improving...so why isn't it happening.

Granted, stans can always find a recent clip of her singing well live but doesn't that further drive home the point that she has no excuse to be ASS in other recent clips? Consistency. It matters. She's on the verge of blowing the fukk up...yet I just don't get the impression she wants it, and instead she'll sink into depression and not really "try" because "trying" and failing hurts more. I hope I'm wrong.

Great points and you're right on Thee Weeknd, he was horrible live. He needs to thank god autotune and reverb exist or else his career would be over and done with.

I hope SZA puts in the work, gets a vocal coach and improves because she is a greater writer and has a gift imo.

She is a really strong writer ... she’s above her peers in that category that’s for sure ... then she has a distinguished, polished ratchet approach ... a unique, authentic delivery and sound too ... her shyt is not contrived ... sounds like she’s really lived the shyt she sings about .

Hope she can sharpen up the live vocals .
