I remember on the first album when this dropped I knew I was in for the future of R&B

you thought that was dope, you should peep her first 2 ep's. i miss her style on those two.

as far as this album, i need more time with it but i can judge at least 5 great songs already.

The Weekend is a standout song... the song with Kendrick is too.

I thought I was getting an R&B album brehs... she fleeced me releasing that Love Galore. Going to have to wait for H.E.R.'s Volume 2 to get more of an R&B fix

Also, Goapele's album is better than this SZA one, came out a few weeks ago.

Anyway album been on repeat !!!

Love galore , broken clocks , weekend , normal girl , pretty little birds and drew barrymore.

Some of this music is too vulgar at times .

I really dislike cursing in r&b music .

Back in the day certain things would just be implied now they just say it .

It's cheap and corny to me .


This album is still fantastic doe really love it .

Probably on my 7th listen .

Yea it's a huge pet peeve of mine for real but it's not gonna stop .

You Know it mostly started when r&b artist started to merge too much with hip hop .

I don't know if you remember but there was this wave when a bunch of r&b songs always had to have a hip hop feature .

That shyt was so fukking annoying !!!!

I think that's when it started to die while also getting more vulgar .

I mean we had a damm song from intro called come inside for fukk sake y'all can learn to be more creative .



You don't have to be cursing up a storm to be nasty we get it .
