Honestly I really hate this board sometimes. Filled with so many ppl that for some reason never want to give the artist any responsibility in their affairs. Like Isaiah Rashad has admitted he’s had drug problems and bullshyts on making music but ppl always want to blame the label. Sza be on the internet lying her ass off about everything. Recently tried to get a photographer canceled for putting out a photo shoot that she herself had released and never paid the photographer (who owns the rights until she pays).

same thing in that Summer Walker thread. When her label found her she was a cleaner and stripper making YouTube covers. They turned her into one of the biggest RnB stars of today and somehow she deserves more than 16% (industry standard from what I’ve heard). Yet since she’s been on she’s antisocial and doesn’t want to do interviews, misses shows, and had baby daddy drama. Imagine if she were an independent artist? She’s own 100% of nothing.

Is it her fault or something else though. She's got at least two hits tucked if not more. This (I Hate You) coming out Friday...and the Shirt song. Just based off the snippet you can tell that's gonna blow up. I'm not even a big fan of I Hate You btw. Love Nightbird tho.

I get waiting for Summer Walker once the late fall/winter arrived. But SZA could have dropped months ago and avoided Summer and Adele. I said it at the time, dropping after Drake would have made perfect sense. Sad girl late summer/fall lol.
