55k was just the deposit. Anyone who knows the business knows that artist get half upfront and half afterwards. Depending on the time frame on the shows vs the cancelation of TI is the deciding factor. The deposit is buying that day and the back end is buying your services. If it's too late and TI can't book anything else in that time frame he can keep the money and the schools fukked themselves over
