:stopitslime:The same Killer Mike that always says stuff like this? You can't call for people to "Kill Your Master" and then want them to backtrack and be peaceful. I get not damaging Black establishments, but this screams "my political connections asking me to do this."

[Verse 1: Killer Mike]
(Conversing with a ghost, conversing with a ghost)
He just leaving and he screamin' Jesus
(He had the highest hopes, he had the highest hopes)
People yellin', screamin' at polices
(Riots tonight, riots tonight)

Burning, looting, shooting, taking, thieving
(Fire and light, fire and light)
Fill the air and most don't know the reason
(Never knew his name, never knew his name)
But they know his problems and feel his pain
(shyt's still the same, shyt's still the same)
We just prey off in they deadly game
(It'll never change, it'll never change)
Too much profit in it and it stay the same
(The facts still remain, the facts still remain)
You can burn the system and start again

[Verse 4: Killer Mike]
No more moms and dads crying
No more arms in the air
We put firearms in the air
Molotov cocktails thrown in the air

CNN got dummy Don on the air
Talking 'bout he smell that ganj in the air
Dummy don't know and dummy don't care
Get that punk motherfukker outta here
Aye, ghosts are walking
Ghosts are talking
Everything gon' be different, mane
Shh, karma's coming
Ain't no runnin'
Death gon' deal with the guilty, mane
The universe curses the killers, mane
Can't keep killin' God's children, mane
A pound of flesh is what you owe
Your debt is due, give up your ghost

And see this the shyt I'm talking about when y'all want celebrities to stand up and speak out

His heart in the right place, he's clearly down for this shyt but here come nikkas clowning for whatever the reasons are..

And TI just a nikka from the hood speaking his mind.. He not the dude that gonna hit you over the head with statistics and history, he just says what he feels..

nikka fukk this weak shyt and fukk you. TIs entire persona is this tough street nikka that’s not afraid to turn up. It’s pathetic.

when I was other nikkas that he was upset with he’ll loudly attack and ridicule them. Now the enemy is police he’s ready to bytch up and back down.

TI is a multimillionaire an an influential voice in Atlanta. he should be showing support and speaking out on the issue even more so.

exactly. He doesn’t say it exactly how you want so you clown, but if he says it how you want then it’s not exactly how internet user # 294849286 wanted it so THEY clown.

people expecting celebrities to come save them w/ their perspectives is crazy

Why do government officials have rappers speaking on stage during a crisis?

They're not elected

We cant hold them accountable

Do you really not know the answer or are you being deliberately obtuse?

To calm nikkas down and put a relatable face on it

And deflect deflect deflect

I'm not talking Atlanta specifically because their shyt popped off because of events in other cities

But in general I am tired of it

Nikkas clowned Trump when he had retail companies at his corona press conferences...as they should

But in general I am tired of it and cute shyt like this

Gretchen Whitmer wears Cartier 'Buffs' sunglasses in Detroit salute

all 23 million miles of useful land
"this city has been here for us" says T.I. do he mean for so called rich celebs and athletes like him?
:jbhmm:
hmm, were they here for "us "when black children were getting murdered in the late 70s early 80s with a black mayor and holice chief, who really didnt move until pressured and quietly swept that whole fiasco under the rug with a sham trial bc they were more concerned about economics over black children. Remember Wayne Williams was so called charged with killing only 2 men, not the children. shytting on black mothers/fathers with more questions than answers. who never got justice till this day.

or when they tore down public housing, displacing countless black families(as seen on the PBS documentary on East Lake Meadows)
closed down the homeless shelter on peachtree b/c business pressured them. and never opened another shelter

gentrified black neighbor hoods who had to forcibly sell their homes b/c the elderly couldn't afford the higher taxes coming for them. they couldn't give them tax breaks like they do these fortune 500 companies.

Build a billion dollar football stadium with promises to build up surrounding neighborhoods, and fell back on their promises. Built a 20 million pedestrian bridge for Superbowl and closed it down and didnt even use it for Superbowl. Black people have been complaining for decades of the poor sewage and floodings in that area but a bridge is more important.

Tearing down homes near Ga. State stadium in the future to build apartments and stores, that we cant afford.

Quarantine got everybody lookin super washed, :russ:

He tried to walk off like he dropped some serious bars, lol, that shyt was like Swaggy P turning after he shot that 3...but that shyt was a brick. Think people will stop protesting and displaying their anger and grief in the most effective way they can because you know how to rhyme over a beat and that means we should follow your lead brehs. If you don't get your 70's porno star, gross ass sideburns/beard face the fukk off this podium...

Your point ain't wrong at all but this is a good example

I wouldn't be surprised if TI didn't know any of that shyt...

His perspective of Atlanta is likely that it's just a black mecca.. That's it..

But he chose to be one of those that's trying to speak for us and nikkas want to crucify him.. But if he don't say shyt, nikkas gonna crucify him..

Most of us on this board would look absolutely retarded trying to stand up there and talk that talk in the public forums that celebrities speak in..

You literally can’t win. nikkas would hate on Malcolm for not fighting the cops after he got Brother Johnson released.

But they would do the hating behind the bushes while looking through binoculars.

I’m not arguing if Tip and Mike were right, but they are showing real leadership. Leadership means you take a stand even in the face of criticism.

Yeah

The hate Dr. King would have gotten would've been absolutely ridiculous on this website..

Then he would've been assassinated and they would've done the same thing white people did with Ali after his Parkinson's worsened, loved him...
