jeezy >>> ross >>> tip

tip only had 2 releases worth looking back on(king & trap muzik). everything else was somewhat average.

and jeezy was more succesful. tip was just pushed harder.

also, tip never had a run like ross has had the past few years(granted, you can argue that ross is having this run by default) and tip definitely didnt have a run like jeezy.

everyone foreget that TIP wass was* the BIGGEST RAPPER ON THE PLANET when ross and jeezy debuted...

no the hell he wasnt.:heh:

T.I also has two top 40 hits (Live Your Life and Dead and Gone)Jeezy and Ross don't even have one :skip:

this is why sales dont mean much.

those song arent even hot.:scusthov:

everyone foreget that TIP wass was the BIGGEST RAPPER ON THE PLANET when ross and jeezy debuted... you can tell they were influenced by TIP...

I can dig it :manny:

But don't act like Jeezy ain't close. Thug Motivation 101, 102, and The Recession (personallly one of my favorite south albums of ALL TIME) are all quality :myman:

Matter of fact I wouldn't be mad if someone said either of them.

I WILL say that GFID is an impressive album and Ross is probably the best at this point. But POM and Trilla did nothing for me personally, and I still feel like he is on the rise.

we gonna act like jeezy didnt immediately blow right past tip when he came out? tip was never seeing jeezy.

tip couldve been ahead of ross but he took himself out of that position by trying too hard to be lyrical & pandering too much to the mainstream. and even before that, dude was still hit-or-miss.

Jeezy and Ross don't even have one :skip:

You're understating T.I.'s chart success.

On the Billboard 100:
Rubberband Man #30
Let's Get Away #35
Bring 'Em Out #9
U Don't Know Me #23
What You Know #3
Why You Wanna #29
Top Back #29
Big shyt Poppin #9
You Know What It Is #34
Whatever U Like #1
Swagga Like Us #5
Live Your Life #1
Dead & Gone #2

Throw in his collabos that were hits ("Soldier" #3 and My Love #1).

For a while there, T.I. was as visible in the pop world as any rapper around.

If we're talkin chart success, Ross nor Jeezy ain't had a song in the Hot 100 in four years.

:wtf: at "What you Know" peaking at #3, that song was getting spins on pop stations?

That song doesn't sound that Popish and it has a pure Hip Hop sound, those soccer moms in the suburbs Probably was like :merchant: if they heard that song on a pop station.

But yea I didn't know T.I has THAT much success on the charts.
