I understand TIP's statement
not only Kennedy..but the Forbes family (opium) and many iconic white men sold ILLEGAL CONTRABRAND to assimilate into mainstream American Life
But here is the problem....
BLACKS are never allowed to ASSIMILATE regardless how much money and class they obtain
So NO CLIFFORD HARRIS we can't do it like they do it

T.I. isn't recognizing that drugs damaged far more people than they helped. For every Big Meech there are thousands of black men who got murked, imprisoned, or strung out on drugs. This isn't a winning formula for success for the community.

....the difference is it was Alcohol...which became legal, and itsnt a hard drug.
Were talking about people who are selling Heroin...and comparing them to people who were selling Alcohol.
There are plenty of black folks that have assimilated...
...the problem is other black folks dont accept them when that happens.
On another note...you only hear black people go "bu bu white people do it".
Asians, etc... look at behaving like white people as a downgrade.

That's what cracks me up about this. I understand his point, he's not totally wrong, factually. But morally, he looks stupid as hell because he thinks uplifting the community is praising drug dealers and gang members, the same people who help create the negative atmosphere in the hood. No matter how much they 'give back." They're parasites. He could've chosen another rapper or somebody else in Atlanta that's doing good in the community, but nah, he chose Big Meech and other incarcerated dudes as an example. Like, what lol.
PS, I don't judge how another man makes his money. But you have to call it how it is.
Yeah and he tried to use the "white people do it too" just to drive home his argument and avoid criticism.
