This is on point. I was thinking, "If Ross got whatever he did for MMG (I think 50 mill but I'm not sure), why can't Tip?" Tip doesn't have artists worth giving 50 M's to Grand Hustle for, whereas Ross scooped up buzzing talent to built on.

Independent means YOU do the ground work. TI would have to cut so many checks just to put out a project that he normally has a major corporation doing.

You might wanna check those international "Blurred Lines" numbers. Music is bigger than your car or mp3 player. Clifford is still an established artist with crossover appeal. His only problem is staying out long enough to take full advantage of it.
I was thinking the same thing. He's to the point know where I can't see him running his own career and successfully being able to promote and release an album with no backing. shyt, he just learned how to stay from behind bars.

His next album is more than likely finished and he got soooo many connects and a established fan base he could pull this shyt off.
