Cant tell me these “industry rappers” dont have their ear to battle rap with these back to back disses
Lets get it smmmiddddddddddd
Lets get it smmmiddddddddddd
The dude literally rolled out of bed and made this because 50 resorted to being a bih and posting and deleting Tiny again. Here's an actual review of this diss record by TIP. Before I get into that, dissing a man's wife, is both childish (if it's online) and dangerous af (if it's irl and we're not talking about celebrities playing games). In the streets, it can get you erased. I would not advice any of you yn's to ever do shyt like this.
Disclaimer: I fw 50, I fw TIP. Both got dope catalogs and are meaningful to the culture. Very different artist and vibes, but obviously heavyweights.
Now on to this record.Beat: it actually feels like a bit of a missed opportunity this beat. The beat is not "trash" but it definitely feel somewhat outdated. The main issue is just the drum pattern (especially the rolling hi-hat) in combo with the "low, scary piano". This mf'er would hit hard in 2005, 2010 even. 2026, Tip would've come across much more serious on a slower, evil, hard hitting beat (a piano riff, dark, still ATL soulful type of beat, slow, methodical, dangerous). I would've loved to hear Tip on a beat that sounded like 2026 and was more interesting. The beat has flavor and rhythm for sure, it's just not a great pick, feels like the beat was made and picked in a rushed manner.
Hook: not completely awful, it's just not very hard-hitting or very memorable. I mean, I'm not singing that shyt along in 2 days. It's a "listen, nod, this is not bad" hook. I think we're supposed to be really shocked that the word "p-ssy" is in there, but it's 2026 and we just seen US citizens get murdered on national TV and nothing happened. So calling someone a p-ssy (while it can get you tore up on the streets) on a record, as a grown adult man with children is somewhat odd. TI can rap like a mf'er, so the hook works because it's TIP - it just could've been better.
Flow/verses: this dude T.I. has ALWAYS had a smooth flow and ain't shyt changed here He can really work around a beat in several ways (pause) and his flow is crisp, and very good and it works. And he does go at 50 with some strong points (nothing we don't know, but it is uncommon to even hear people diss 50 because nobody wants that social media smoke). More so than what he's saying "I don't make memes I make music" is not a line that hits as hard as he thinks - it's refreshing to hear him threatening 50 as he should there's beef and this is street rap, but it's going to stay on wax likely, and calling him a muscled fat faced dude is an ok jab. He's got a few lines that made me go "oh ok" but man it's tough to get hype about a T.I. diss in 2026 because 50 Cent won't do a Verzuz and posted his wife on Instagram. The feeling of early G-Unit vs Ja is NOT here.
Hype/impact: this beef will fizzle out before it's the weekend. UNLESS someone actually gets hands put on them - I doubt 50 responds.
Verdict: I'd rate this record 4/10 max 5/10 when you put it up against the great diss records of our time. Nice for the culture, a little bit of motion. IF 50 responds and it's one of those crazy diss tracks AND Tip comes back we MAY see this record in a different light but it's light, predictable jabs (looks, don't come at my wife etc., you a bych basically) it's not "JEEZUS WHAT THE FUUUKKKK Tip's gone OFF" level music. With that said: respect to TIP for protecting his wife's pride, that's dope for sure and to get it on wax and out this fast.
p.s. used to be a time on SOHH and early The Coli that people gave actual "reviews" and not just silly little back and forths "Oh the g unit dikk ryders are here" "oh nah fukk you wit more than just the TIP bych" etc. Shyt is childish AF. Neither of these n----s give AF about you. You riding hard for a dude who don't know you on a forum. In any case: I'd still listen to this over all this bullshyt these new"rappers" put out, +95% of new rap joints are forgettable AF.
Peace.
EDIT: apparently this is the third or fourth T.I. diss of 50 Cent and the dude hasn't recorded a diss reply yet saying "I don't need me to rap, you need me to rap". Starting to look like T.I. is doing what he should've done in like 2005 which is diss 50 on record to get attention/sales/bigger gigs and deals etc. I should go back and change my "Hype/Impact" but fukk it. You can't diss a dude more than 1x if he doesn't respond - Tip's old school he should know that. He had to respond for his wife, but he could've also posted one of Fif's ex broads and k.i.m.
His flow definitely fell off. Not that he cant flow still, but that slow flow was butter back in the day

T.I technically raps better than 50 at this point but if 50 drops anything it will be 100 percent more entertaining that's for sure.50 views responding as helping tip because that's exactly what 50 did before to sell records.

A nickel is $0.05, so 5 cents. It's a diss to 50 Cent fans, calling them nickels. It's not (from what I'm gathering) a play on the n-word in any way.
This nikka made a PowerPoint. Imma about to read itHere's an actual review of this diss record by TIP.
