Realistically, i've been to parties where people are passing around drugs like candy and it isn't like a menu or announcement the the drinks or joints being passed around are laced with shyt. People are just sharing and being jolly. Regulars pretty much know this and are there for the specific purpose of getting high and having a good time. Problem is sometimes you will have someone who invites a stranger. People throwing the party might not know them but are trusting the friend who invited them that they are aware of what kind of party it is. They not gonna make them sign a waiver or explain terms and conditions or some shyt. which means they aren't necessarily anymore aware that you are unaware of whats going on then you are aware of the whats going on. Example: We pass around a joint its understood between all of us that we smoking weed. You invite a friend into the circle and somebody passes the joint to them. We assume he is aware and you are taking responsibility for them. He comes back later and claims he was drugged, the homeowners get blamed, even though realistically the friend who brought them is at fault.

In the context of this discussion and the larger context of this current culture, it's easy to read that post and think you've declared him guilty. That "if" doesn't do much to clarify your take. My fault for misreading you though.
